博士毕业于兰州大学，师从王锐院士从事多肽生物化学与药化研究。毕业后于同济大学从事博士后研究工作，主要进行小分子药物与基因编辑技术运用等研究。博后出站进入上海中医药大学工作，目前担任中国中医药研究促进会肿瘤分会委员，世界中医药学会联合会肿瘤精准医学专业委员会委员。研究领域主要聚焦于开发和优化新一代中药和多肽药物，将针对肿瘤和肿瘤微环境方法相结合靶向防治结直肠癌。通过开展天然活性小分子的作用机制研究，为靶向防治结直肠癌发掘候选新药。

目前以第一作者在国际刊物发表SCI论文10篇，单篇最高影响因子大于10。主持国家自然科学基金1项，以第一发明人申请国家发明专利2项。

Fengjing Jia, Associate research fellow

Dr. Jia obtained her Ph.D. degree from Lanzhou University. During the Ph.D. period under the direction of professor Wang, she focused on peptide chemistry and medicinal chemistry. Dr. Jia then moved to Tongji University for postdoctoral research, mainly engaged in the research of medicinal chemistry and the CRISPR-based gene-editing technology. She went on to work at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Jia is a member of the Tumor Branch of the Association for the Promotion of Chinese Medicine Research and a member of the Professional Committee on Precision Medicine in Oncology of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Her research area focuses on the development and optimization of a new generation of herbs and peptides that will target colorectal cancer in combination with approaches targeting the tumor and its microenvironment. Research on the mechanism of action of novel molecules will be carried out to identify new drug candidates for the targeted prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer.

Dr. Jia has published more than 10 research papers in journals. The highest impact factor of the journals is greater than 10. Granted 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) funds as PI and applied for 2 national patents.
